Le Toucher
This is a story about touches.
A leap in time. French Indochina. This is a narrative about the holding of gaze.
Evergreen banana plant. Bamboo baskets. Silky-smooth áo dài. Light scent of white lilies.
A touch is something that carries histories. The history of us. No matter the periods of time, love touches us back to life, to where we begin. Our love is, foremost, physicalised through touches.
A touch is something that speaks. When skin is pinned against skin, there will be unsaid words left scattered inside us. Ours is a love that lives bodily, expressed through that still-warm putting of palms on shoulders.
French Indochina, itself, is a time of touches. Reserved, but there still exists an acute desire to connect and be together.

So touched, we felt, and be, together.
This is why Le Narrateur has chosen ‘Indochine’ as a wedding concept and, thus, has meticulously prepared for the couple the entire set design.
A touch is what Le Narrateur wants to capture and gives back to you. We touch your love into its truest form, into its realest existence.
